I’ve been working on Cloud Foundry for over a decade and I like to think I learned a few things along the way. Join me as I explore what we can learn from past engineering decisions both good and bad. How did we end up with Diego as our container scheduler? Why aren’t roles in Cloud Controller customizable? Why is Cloud Foundry as stable as it is? As we look towards the future of Cloud Foundry I’ll share how past endeavors have taught me to consider new features and guide them through the development process.
